Looking to strengthen your color skills? In this Color Theory mini-semester class we will go over the basic principles of color by learning the color wheel, how color works, working in limited color palette and color schemes! Students will learn about tones, shades, and tints along with hues, saturation and value. We will paint from life and understand how light and shadow changes color. Students will understand how certain color harmonies can convey emotion, lights, darks, and concept. We will strengthen the relationship between artist and concept by understanding the moods of color.
Students may work in any traditional medium they choose as long as it includes color. Beginner and Advanced students welcome!
