Frequently Asked Questions

I enrolled in a class, what now?

First, congratulations on enrolling at Baltimore Academy of Illustration.  Once you have completed signing up for your desired courses, you will be directed to a page where you will enter your name and contact information. This will let us know who you are and how to contact you with important course information.

What supplies should I bring?

Each student will find that their necessary supplies will depend on the style that they wish to work in. If you prefer to work digitally, a laptop computer enabled with art programs such as Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator would be preferable. If you work traditionally, it will be important to bring the appropriate drawing and painting mediums such as pens, ink, paint, paper, illustration board, etc. Your professor will contact you before the first day of class if they have a specific list of materials.

It is also mandatory for each student to keep a sketch book and to bring it to every class.
